Galentine’s Day – Ladies’ Night Out

by | Feb 12, 2020 | Fashion | 8 comments

Hello lovelies and welcome to V.Vintage Wardrobe ! Happy Valentine’s Day or in my case ‘Galentines’ Day. I am a total sucker for love whether it is romantically or platonically – that’s the inner cancer in me.

Galentine’s Day was introduced by a fictional character Leslie Knope, as a celebration of female friends. Leslie explained it “Every February 13, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast –style. Ladies celebrating ladies.” Sounds like another cheesy made up holiday. Guess what ? I’m all here for it.

There is no right or wrong way to celebrate with your girlfriends – whether it’s a game night, slumber party or over drinks. Just be present for each other. The ultimate goal is to share the love you have for one another. My girlfriends and I will be enjoying a special ladies’ night out. Of course that means tons of stories, obnoxious ugly laughs, and wine. I will forever cherish these moments.

Will you be participating in Galentine’s Day? Leave a comment below.
